In an episode of Chef, Everton makes Guiness Punch. (Second season?) My fiance's
birthday is coming up and he's been obsessing over trying to find the receipe. Is it
fiction or does it exist? If it does exist, please email me any information you may have
by July 20th. Thank you!

My wife and I love Chef! We watched it religiously when we were in the DC area, and
sorely miss the show down here. Are there ANY GEORGIA PBS stations that show Chef!? If so,
please email us. Thanks for this great site!

Love Chef! Our PBS has only shown I and II hope we'll see more of this hillarious show.
Wish we could get British television on cable. But if not I know I'll be able to watch it
once I move to Ireland.

Chef! is clearly a different show than all the rest. Series I and II are clearly the
best and series III is okay, except it seems to be missing something without Gareth's
wife. Everton is a riot and thank god for WOSU in columbus, because woub in Athens doesn't
carry it.

Fabulous show!! Dead on as for as some chefs go. The one I work for is just as
boisterous and every bit the perfectionist. The first time I watched it I was rolling,
couldn't believe it. Hope it comes back, but not holding out much hope.

Wow, what agreat site. Chef! is so much better than the fare offered up on American TV.
Our local PBS station only showed series I and II, but promised Chef! would be back. Great
job by Lenny Henry and the staff. This was one show that always left me in tears.

Still very much in love with this programme of yours... Heard that it is now shown on the
local satelite tv which I unfornately dont have access to... Personally I really think
your shows have always been the best in my books...

Thank goodness we still get "Chef" on Cable. A fabulous Web Site and a much
enjoyed show. I worked in a restaurant and can now see that there was humour, even when I
thought there wasn't. Am looking forward to seeing more "Chef" on cable and more

Just to let everyone know, Chef! is back on the air on KERA in Dallas. It's on Sat

told by someone at the station that there is no new episodes, so they're just running the
first three series again. Joe Siegler

I just finished watching the episode about the band-aid in the ravioli(?). This is a
great show! Lenny Henry is a true comic genius! If you ever go back into production I
would love to be your technical advisor. The kitchen sequences are terrific, but in real
kitchens, the language is slightly more "Colorful". Best of luck to Lenny in his
future endeavors!

Hello, I am currently in the US Air Force stationed in Iceland. Before I came here I've
never heard of CHEF! or Lenny Henry. But since we have BBC Television here, I ran across
the show! It has turned into my favorite show! I was very upset when I heard that they are
only reruns and are only 3 series. I would hope that Mr. Henry does some work in the
States because I probably won't see the show after I leave Iceland. BRING CHEF! BACK!!!

It's been awhile since I came across a British comedy I have taken a liking to, but
"Chef!" did the trick. I put it with my favorites along with
"Blackadder", "Monty Python", "Red Dwarf", "Not the
Nine O'Clock News", "Alas! Smith and Jones", and "The Young
Ones." I especially like it for it's original premise. I never thought a show about a
Chef in a fine kitchen could be so funny, and yet you to really caring about the
characters, especially Gareth and his Wife. My local PBS station only showed the first two
series, so I fortunately missed the distressing news that the Blackstocks break up, which
seems like a serious error, as their relationship was a cornerstone of the show for me.
They replaced it with "Lenny Henry Tonight!" which is quite good in it's own
right, bit I think Mr. Henry's comic acting truly blossomed in "Chef!" I hope
CBS/Fox releases the rest of the run of "Chef!" eventually, as I see entirely
too many volumes of "Are you Being Served?" (a show I never got into at all) in
my video store. Here's to a great Web-site! As Everton would say, "Cheers!"

I have just recently watched CHEF! on my newly hooked-up cable tv on STAR WORLD channel
and I don't intend to miss an episode from then on. Being a chef was my ambition 10 years
ago but unfortunately the idea was not well greeted by my family. CHEF! just fulfilled
that empty dream and satisfaction that I've burried for years. There isn't a better actor
than Lenny Henry to play the part. His fast moving lips, vulgar and brilliant english,
ultra sensitive and twisting mood that makes the programme irresistable. Keep up the great
work, Lenny. This is a great website too.

Lenny , I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed Chef! Although it was taken off PBS in
Sacramento , CA. I called to find out why they replaced it with a show that wasn't worthy
, I just got the run around , and then I was told they had to buy some more episodes. I
would like an autographed picture of yourself and cast if possible. I really miss your
show . I'm a woman of color and I will always support you and any show you may have
because I know you will only put out the best . I've met several people from England and

While many ministers, pastors, etc, are working on sermons Saturday night, my wife and
I, (both pastors), are enjoying CHEF. It gives me the best laughs of the week. CHEF has an
amazing command of the English language, allowing him to attain all kinds of emotions
without using profanity. I am sorry that more episodes were not made. Are 6 or 7 episodes
a normal season on the BBC. I recall VICAR OF DIBLEY also having only six episodes. We
also enjoyed that program, although that has now been replaced by MURDER MOST HORRID. We
hope to see more episodes of CHEF in the future.

I adore this show and all the others that channel 13 plays on Saturday and Sunday
nights. Lenny Henry has got to be one of the most talented and funny people out there,
it's too bad that more people in America don't know who he is or get a chance to see his

Love the show but I only got to see five episodes before YTV stopped airing it at
1:30am Sunday morning. My partner and I watched every weekend after he finished his
Saturday night shift at our Restaurant, this being the reason that we both can relate to
the humor on the show. My wife told me she had seen the show on another station at an
earlier time. If there is anyone out there that knows where and what time the show can be
seen out here on the west coast of Canada, I would sure appreciate the info!

With the holiday season approaching, has anyone come through with a recipe for the
Guiness punch featured in Rice & Peas from Series I? If so, please respond. Now if
KERA would bring back Chef! and Alexei Sayles "Stuff."

This is an excellent site on the series of a manifique chef who wants to be manifique.
Kudos to the audible and visualeque Britcom.

I caught three episodes of Chef! (Series II) a few years back while in Gainesville Fl.,
and searched for other episodes for years... I walked into Suncoast Video recently, and
there was Series I! Does CBS-FOX have any plans for releasing Series II or III on
videotape? If not, is there anyone who has it on tape willing to help a poor Chef! addict?
(I'll pay for tapes, postage, and time)

"Chef!" has recently returned to the television listings of WHYY-TV on Sunday
evenings at 11pm. I have always found it to be an extremely entertaining show, and looked
forward to watching the episodes. "Chef!" is a programme of very high quality,
and a very welcome change from most of the effluvia that pollutes American television. I
do appreciate your website, and sincerely wish you the best of all success with it.
Cheers, Reg
